Sales surprisingly low to start 2009

Although January was exceptionally slow, activity picked up near months end, and I expect we should see 12-16 sales in February. Homes under $450,000 seem to be the most sought after, and created the most sales over the last few months. Single-family inventory has remained between 75 and 90 houses for sale, creating better odds for sellers wishing to sell in the near future.
