September sales were up from August, but down from both this July when 31 single-family homes sold, and September of 2008 with 20 sales. This is somewhat lower than I had expected, but still not something to be concerned about. The positive sign was that 10 properties sold above $ 450,000, driving up the average sale price up significantly from the previous month, although still below $ 487,262 for September of 2008. This indicates there is still a strong move-up market in the area.
If you are considering a move, I would be happy to discuss the Real Estate market, and assist you in planning for a successful move.
